Alamo City Urgent Care currently conducts COVID-19 testing at both of its locations. The testing methods we are CURRENTLY using are PCR MID-NASEL swabs and Sophia RAPID TESTS. We will have results to you within 15-20 minutes after the test is run through the machine we use on-site for Rapid Tests and 48-72 hours for PCR Tests. If you are taking a COVID-19 test for airline travel purposes, currently they are requiring a PCR Test.

If you have a commercial insurance carrier, such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, etc., the testing is conducted at no out of pocket cost to you as required by the Families First Act. If you currently do not have insurance, the cost of the test including visit fees will be $175. We are not funded by the City or State for testing. This cost is applied to the cost of labor, supplies, and utilities needed to conduct the testing.

You may reserve a spot on our website by going to “Check-In Online”, We can only book reservations 2 days in advance. Please be patient as we are working as fast as possible in an orderly manner to keep everything working efficiently.
