At Alamo City Urgent Care, we know that emergency situations can be stressful. We don’t want financial concerns to add to that stress, or prevent anyone from receiving the care that they need. Below, we have outlined some basic information on our payment policies. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
Alamo City Urgent Care accepts MOST major insurances plans (the following lists only a few):

If you are unsure if your insurance is accepted at Alamo City Urgent Care, call the 1-800 number on the back of your insurance card, and they can readily tell you if you will be covered. Document the date, time and whom you spoke with about the eligibility of Alamo City Urgent Care. This will be of assistance to you later if you do visit us.
Although we accept most major payment plans, there are some forms of insurance that are incompatible with our level of care. As a result, we DO NOT accept at this time:
- Oscar
- Out-of-State Medicaid
We care for patients of all ages and the seniors on Original Medicare or those on a Medicare Advantage plan. If you do happen to have Original Medicare or a Medicare Advantage Plan and about to turn 65 years old, then you will be covered when you turn 65 years old.
You can enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan each fall during the Medicare Open Enrollment Period. It is Open Enrollment from October 15th through December 7th. People that move or lose coverage for different reasons might qualify for what is called a Special Election Period which will allow you to change your plans during the year. If you would like to learn more, please give us a call, our staff would be happy to help you.
If you’re ready to come in and see us, please stop by! We are always accepting walk-ins. You can also fill out our online form now so that we will be ready for you when you get here.
